Hey Rival Stars community!
First off, a big thank you for all the love you’ve shown our recent updates. We’ve been thrilled to see how you’re making the most of the Accelerator Events to boost your horses’ training and experimenting with new exotic traits like Meadowstride and Short Star. Exotic traits like these are sure to come in handy in Cross Country and our upcoming short-distance races!
We understand how important it is for competitive players to know what’s coming next, and that’s why we’re super excited about our latest update.
Now, let’s leap into the details and see what’s new!
Get Race Ready with the Event Hub!
Our goal with this feature is simple: to give you a clear overview of what’s coming up so you can prepare in advance and always be ready for the next race.
The Event Hub is designed to be your go-to space for tracking upcoming events in Rival Stars Horse Racing. Whether you’re aiming to improve your standings or just want to ensure your horses are ready for the next big challenge, the Event Hub will keep you informed and on track.
To make room for the new Event Hub, we’ve made a few changes to the main menu! The ‘Race and Ride’ section is now the Career tab, where you’ll find all your favorite story mode races and free roam activities. Meanwhile, the Social tab has been transformed into the Event Hub—your one-stop source for everything event-related. Whether it’s Breeding Events, Limited Time Events, Accelerator Events, or Live Events, the Event Hub has you covered.
How does it work?
Let’s open the Event Hub and see how it works, starting with the Currently Live screen! This is where you’ll find all the events that are happening right now, keeping you in the loop and ready to jump in at a moment’s notice.
Here, you’ll find Live Races, complete with familiar details like surface and distance preferences. Breeding Events such as Exotic Genes and Exotic Traits have also been given the spotlight, sporting fresh looks that highlight their unique rewards. Plus, you’ll get a sneak peek at what’s starting soon, so you can plan ahead and be ready to jump in as soon as these events go live.
To make things even more convenient, we’ve also moved the Social tab into the Event Hub, making it easier than ever to coordinate and strategize with your teammates. We’re really excited to see how you’ll use the new Event Hub, and we can’t wait to hear what you think!
Manage Your Stables with New Filters!
Filters have been designed for players who want to get the most out of breeding their horses.
We know that as your stables grow, managing a large number of horses can become a challenge, especially when you’re trying to organize them or find the right breeding partner.
That’s why we’ve added a new way to filter your stables—making life a whole lot easier!
The real game-changer here is in the breeding menu. Now, by selecting the list icon next to a horse’s name, you’ll have access to the new Filter option. This gives you a variety of ways to sort and select your preferred horses. Whether you’re filtering by Breed, Traits, Preferences, Patterns, Colors, or Dilutions, finding the perfect stud has never been easier. We encourage you to explore the Filter menus to see all the options available.
But that’s not all—we’ve also made improvements to the sorting system in other menus, including the Stables, Free Roam, Steeplechase, and Cross Country. Take a look at the different sorting options and discover what works best for you!
New Coats Coming Your Way!
Your horses deserve to look their absolute best, and we’ve pulled out all the stops to help them showcase fresh, new coats! This update is packed with 30 dazzling patterns, including the show-stopping Appaloosa, Tobiano, and Lacing coats, just like the ones you see in the image below!
These striking new coats will be available through Limited-Time Events, Exotic Genes, and Limited-Time Offers. The picture here is just a taste of what’s coming, and we can’t wait to see your horses strutting their stuff in these stunning new looks!

- Check Out the New Event Hub!
- ‘Race and Ride’ is now called ‘Career.’ This is where you can find Story Races and Free Roam.
- The ‘Social’ menu has been moved into the Event Hub.
- The Event Hub now includes Live Races, Breeding Events, Accelerator Events, and Limited Time Events.
- New horse filters and sorting options have been added in select menus!
- In the Breeding menu, you can now filter horses by Breed, Traits, Preferences, Patterns, Colors, and Dilutions.
- We’ve also added new sorting options in the Stables, Free Roam, and other Story race menus.
- 30 new coats have been added!

- You can get your hands on these coats through Limited Time Events, Exotic Genes events, and Limited Time Offers.
Other notable changes and bug fixes:
- We’ve fixed issues with the Energy Saver trait in Steeplechase and Cross Country.
- We’ve made improvements to Diet Plans in Cross Country.
- Horses with max stats in a given category will now appear last in the training list.
- Improved performance on medium and low-end devices.
- Fixed long loading times on iOS when restoring purchases.
- Fixed bugs that were causing the screen to crash after performing certain actions.
- Limited Time Offers will now display your local currency abbreviation when making purchases (e.g., $XX USD in the US).
- Fixed a navigation bug that occurred after cross country events.
- Fixed an issue where VIP Store horses came with different traits than advertised.
- Fixes for various display issues.
Known issues:
- Studs in the breeding screen may visually disappear if it doesn’t match the filters set by the player.
- Horses are getting a bit too dramatic in photo mode, striking a rearing pose and refusing to come down.
