Hey, Rival Stars Horse Racing community!

A huge thank you for the amazing feedback on the Event Hub! We’re so happy to see how well it’s been received, and we’re excited to keep improving it. You might even spot a few new additions in this update—but more on that later!

We know the last update was a big one, and some players are still adjusting to the new format. It was ambitious, and we’re learning how to make it even better. Thanks so much for your patience as we continue to fine-tune the experience!

Now, let’s jump into the 1.56 Knabstrupper Update!

Knabstrupper: The Ultimate Show Jumping Horse

We’re excited to welcome the Knabstrupper to Rival Stars Horse Racing! Known for their striking spotted coats and impressive athletic ability, these unique horses are sure to turn heads in your stables and excel in competition.

What makes the Knabstrupper even more special is its two breed-specific Traits designed to shine in jumping events:

  • Agile Arrow Pro: Superior agility across all game modes, helping your horse maneuver with ease.
  • To the Moon Pro: Superior jump ability across all game modes, perfect for clearing obstacles effortlessly.

If your Knabstrupper’s breed percentage is 80% or higher, they’ll have access to both Pro versions of these Traits, giving them a powerful edge in events like Show Jumping and Steeplechase. With this combination of Traits, your Knabstrupper will be ready to shine when Show Jumping fully releases next year.

Keep an eye out for this bold new breed in Limited-Time Events and Exclusive Offers, and don’t miss your chance to add one to your roster!

Jump Your Way: New Control Options for Show Jumping

We’ve been closely following player feedback and survey results, and one of the top requests was to give players control over when their horses jump. This led us to ask: How would you, the players, prefer to jump?

Would you want a control scheme similar to Steeplechase, where manually timing your jumps delivers the best results? Or would you prefer something like Cross Country, where speed is the key factor?

Well, we’ve decided to put the power in your hands! In this update, we’re introducing new control schemes for the Show Jumping Arena, letting you decide which method works best for you. Whether you like the precision of manual timing or the fast-paced action of speed-based controls, the choice is yours.

Now is a critical moment in the development of Show Jumping, and we need your feedback to shape how it will play when it releases next year. If you’re a Star Club subscriber, you can test different combinations of control modes and enabling refusals. Be sure to provide your feedback through the in-game survey—this is your chance to have a direct impact on how Show Jumping will work!

Here’s a breakdown of the new show jumping control modes:

Movement:

  • Normal Controls:
Left/right steering with a sprint button to pick up speed—simple, intuitive controls that players are already familiar with.
  • Equestrian Mode:
Use the joystick to control the horse in any direction. Pull back to slow down, push forward to speed up. It’s a bit trickier to master but offers more freedom of movement for players looking for precision.

Jumping:

  • Enable Refusals:
When this option is turned on, players will need to manually press the jump button for their horses to clear the showjump fence. Your performance will be measured by your timing, much like in other modes. This is the expert mode for players who are seeking a more realistic Show Jumping experience.
  • Auto Jump:
Horses will automatically leap over gates without the need for prompts or perfect timing, letting players focus on the course.

We’re eager to hear your feedback on these new control modes. Your input will help shape this feature as we prepare for its full release next year. Give it a try, share your thoughts, and help us keep improving the Show Jumping Arena!

Looking ahead, we’re working on plenty of extra features for the rest of the year, including Faults (where rails or obstacles can be knocked down), Show Jumping rider attire, and brand new environments. Don’t Miss a Thing: Get Event Notifications!

Want to make sure you’re always ready for the start of your favorite event or never miss out on claiming that perfect coat? The Event Hub now has a brand-new notification system that’s got you covered!

Players can opt to receive push notifications (those small pop-up messages) when events go live, keeping you up-to-date and ready to jump in right away. Whether it’s a Limited-Time Event or a chance to snag your favorite color, pattern, or trait, this feature will help you stay on top of it all!

To start using notifications, simply head to the Event Hub and navigate to either the Starting Soon or Next Week sections. Tap the bell icon next to the event you want to be notified about, and you’ll get a push notification as soon as it’s live!

We’ve been learning a lot from your feedback and will continue to improve the Event Hub over time. Keep sharing your thoughts, and we’ll keep making it better!
