Known for their gentle temperament and versatility, Appaloosas are just as comfortable on the race track as they are in the show ring or on the trails.
Rival Stars Horse Racing has featured many Appaloosa-style coats over the years, but now, we’re making it official, the Appaloosa is here as a full-fledged breed!
Here’s a neat detail for equestrian enthusiasts! Many Appaloosas in Rival Stars Horse Racing will have mottling as a unique feature exclusive to this breed! Not every coat will have it, but for those that do, it’s an extra touch of authenticity we hope you’ll enjoy.
The Appaloosa is already a showstopper—but it’s got acceleration to match! With the Flash Ignite Trait it boasts superior acceleration across all game modes when at least 80% Appaloosa or purebred. That puts it on par with the American Quarter Horse, making it a great pick for players wanting to expand their racing lineup.

- Team Ranking UI Improvements
- The leaderboard once again displays the top 25 teams, with your team’s ranking anchored for easy reference. Tap your ranking to jump straight to your team’s position on the leaderboard.
Other notable changes and bug fixes:
- Hidden Gene text now displays correctly in popups where they were previously incorrect.
- Improved navigation in the Modify Outcomes screen—players can now properly use the back button.
- Premium Studs now display hidden genes on the Horse Details screen as intended.
- Fixed a visual issue where horses could become invisible in certain scenes.
- Resolution scaling has been improved for various iOS devices preventing text from being cut off.
- (iOS only): Fixed crashes that occurred when launching the game from notifications.
