Thank you for riding with us, sharing feedback, and flooding our feeds with incredible submissions for the Show Jumping Photo Contest! We loved celebrating alongside you, and we’ve got more community events lined up soon.

This is our final update of the year, and we’re going out with a BIG UPDATE! There’s plenty to explore too! A brand-new breed, a snow-covered Free Roam twist on Lucerne, and an invitation to unwrap 25 days of Holiday cheer with daily gifts. Ready to jump in? 

Style Your Horse in The Salon

We’re excited to introduce a new way to bring even more personality and charm to your horses. In The Salon, Star Club members can browse and apply Quarter Marks to give their horses a stylish flair that reflects the shining personality of their favorite horses!

Quarter Marks come in a wide range of colors, shapes, and rarities, including a set of unique Glitter Quarter Marks with shimmering variants waiting to be discovered. You’ll also find Quarter Marks from earlier updates available here, making it easier to explore your favorite looks in one place.

We can’t wait to see the creative combinations players come up with and hope to see your horses sparkle with style!

Welcome the Friesian to Rival Stars Horse Racing!

Straight from the Netherlands comes one of the world’s most iconic and unmistakable breeds: the Friesian. With their jet-black coats, flowing manes, wavy tails, and feathered feet, Friesians have a presence that’s instantly recognisable and impossible to ignore.

In this update, you’ll be able to welcome this historic Dutch breed into your stable and experience their unmistakable presence for yourself!

Purebred Friesians will have access to the Pro version of Agile Arrow, giving them a boost to Agility. This update also introduces three cosmetic Exotic Traits inspired directly by the Friesian’s iconic look:

  • Wavy Mane – Adds flowing, wavy styling to the mane.
  • Wavy Tail – Adds the same elegant waves to the tail.
  • Classic Feathering – Adds the distinctive feathering around the lower legs.

Collect all three Exotic Traits to create the ultimate Friesian look, or mix and match them with other Exotic Traits and Genes to shape a style that’s uniquely yours

You’ll be able to collect the Friesian’s Exotic Traits across a series of Elegance in Ebony events kicking off in December. Each run will also include an opportunity to earn Friesian-inspired custom tack.

A Winter Wonderland in Lucerne

For a limited time this Holiday Season, Star Club subscribers can explore a beloved free-roam environment with a beautiful winter-themed twist! 

From the beginning of rollout through to the end of January, Lucerne, Switzerland, transforms into a snow-covered, picture-perfect wonderland, offering the ideal backdrop for taking festive photos of your horses!

Wander through magical alpine scenery, watch your horses frolic through the snow, and capture stunning shots against this serene winter landscape.

Celebrate 25 Days of Holiday Cheer!

From the 1st of December, players can look forward to a 25-day Holiday Calendar filled with daily gifts to celebrate the festive season. Each day brings a new reward to claim — from Gold, Silver, Roses, and Skills, all the way to a very special surprise waiting on the 25th.

If you happen to miss a day, don’t worry, you’ll still be able to claim any rewards you’ve missed by watching an ad, ensuring everyone has a chance to enjoy the full festive lineup.

The Salon (Star Club)

New Breed: Friesian

Holiday Calendar – 25 Days of Cheer

  • From December 1st, claim daily gifts for 25 days (Gold, Silver, Roses, Skills, and a special surprise on the 25th).

  • Miss a day? Watch an ad to catch up on any unclaimed rewards.

Photo Mode update

  • Share your best Show Jumping or Cross Country score when taking photos in Photo Mode.

 

Other notable changes and bug fixes:  

  • Horses that are ready for training will now appear at the top of your list.

  • Fixed an issue where exiting the Show Jumping tutorial could cause the game to crash.

  • Fixed an issue where Diet Plans could activate unintentionally in Show Jumping Career Mode.

  • Updated the path guide colors in Sponsored Races to make them easier to see.

  • SFX can now be fully muted in the settings menu (no more surprise trumpets!).

  • Fixed an issue preventing Android players from logging in via Facebook.

  • Fixed an issue with the info button on horses in the Market Offers tab.

 

Known issues:

  • Player icons in the Teams, Team chat, and Friends screen are discolored.

  • When navigating from the Salon to the Tack screen after opening the Salon from the Stables, the horse sorting resets.
