Hey Rival Stars Community!
We’re kicking off 2026 with the first update of the year, and it’s all about celebrating how you play! We’ve added new Team Leaderboards for Cross Country, Steeplechase, and Flat Racing, plus Agility Diet Plans for all game modes. Let’s jump in!
Pick Your Arena in New Team Leaderboards
Starting February 9th, in addition to the existing leaderboards, teams will be able to climb separate leaderboards for Cross Country, Steeplechase, and Flat Racing. If your crew shines in a particular mode, there will soon be a clear place to prove it!

The Contributions panel to the right of the Team Rankings has also been updated with new tags for each discipline, displayed alongside the active event and the points you’ve contributed, so your impact is easy to see at a glance.
This is our first step! For now, you can compete and get a clearer view of how you measure up against others. Looking ahead, we’re exploring adding rewards to the discipline-specific leaderboards in a future update, giving teams more flexibility to focus on the modes they enjoy most.
From February 9th, we’ll be spotlighting top-performing teams for each discipline over the following weeks, with community prizes up for grabs. We’ll be sharing the love in the Facebook Group and Discord, so bring your A-game!
Agility Diet Plans
New Diet Plans are joining the lineup very soon, offering up to +5 Agility when the surface matches your horse’s preference across all modes. In Show Jumping, surface preference doesn’t apply, so the Agility boost is always on, which means you always get an extra boost when you need to make tight turns.

Here’s how Agility plays a role in each game mode:
Agility in Flat Racing:
- Increased stamina regeneration while in the preferred position.
Agility in Steeplechase:
- Increases the size of the perfect jump zone and makes getting a perfect jump easier.
Agility in Cross Country:
- Increases the speed of the horse’s turn rate.
Agility in Show Jumping:
- Reduces the stamina cost of making sharp turns.
As always, play your way! Combine Diet Plans with traits to suit your style, and experiment to discover new ways to play.

Coming Up Next
This year, we’re also welcoming the Year of the Horse with fresh content and rewards in the Luminous Leaps Limited Time Event, new seasonal Glitter Quarter Marks to style your horses, and a Lunar New Year Event Calendar that lets you claim a free festive reward every day.
Keep an eye on the Event Hub for dates and details!

Thanks for kicking off 2026 with us. Your feedback, screenshots, and friendly rivalry keep Rival Stars galloping forward! With 1.69 rolling out, we can’t wait to see the competition take shape within the discipline leaderboards, as well as the clever combinations you put together using Agility Diet Plans.
Keep sharing your wins, milestones, and favourite horses in the Facebook group and on Discord. As always, we’ll see you at the starting gates!
